KCC loses 23-point game to Shahridari in FIBA Asia Champions League opener, Heoong scores 18 points in first half

Busan KCC Aegis fell to Shahridari Gorgan (Iran) 79-102 in the first game of Group B of the 2024 FIBA Champions League Asia on Monday (Feb. 9) at Sheikh Saeed Bin Maktoum Sports Hall in Dubai, UAE. 토토 It was their first loss of the tournament.
KCC hadn’t had much time to rest after winning the championship in early May, as they were busy with club events and other commitments. Still, they brought in foreign players Alonzo McKinney and Dion Thompson on a “short-term part-time basis” for the tournament. McKinney scored 14 points.
KCC had 18 points from Heo Woong and 12 points from Choi Jun-yong. However, they were outplayed by Joseph Young’s 33 points and Will Cherry’s 28 points. KCC will face Hiroshima Dragons Flyers (JPN) on Tuesday and Felita Jaya (IND) on Wednesday. First and second place in the group will advance to the quarterfinals.
