The top-ranked LG Twins have a 75.8 percent chance of winning the regular season title.
LG cruised to a 12-2 victory over the KIA Tigers in the 2023 Shinhan Bank Solar KBO League at Gwangju-Kia Champions Field on Aug. 8.

In the fourth inning, Austin Dean walked and Moon Bo-kyung singled to left-center to put runners on first and third, and Oh Ji-hwan’s sacrifice fly to center scored a run.
With a 2-0 lead, LG scored four runs in the top of the sixth inning.

In Gochuk, the Hanwha Eagles defeated the Kiwoom Heroes 6-5 thanks to Nick Williams’ game-winning solo home run in the 12th inning of extra innings.
With their third straight win, Hanwha (47-62) moved from ninth to eighth place.

Hit a solo homer in the fourth inning and a solo arch (his sixth of the season) in the 12th for the winning runs.
Hanwha starter Ricardo Sanchez pitched five innings of eight-hit ball (two homers) with three walks and three strikeouts to earn the win.

Kim Hye-seong and Park Chan-hyuk led Kiwoom’s offense with big hits, but their efforts were overshadowed by the loss. Kim Hye-seong went 6-for-5 with two doubles, two RBIs, two runs scored, and one walk, setting new single-game records for most hits and most runs batted in (six), but she wasn’t smiling.

In the bottom of the first inning, Kiwoom took advantage of a low fastball from Hanwha starter Sanchez for a solo home run (his first of the season) to left field.
After taking control of the game, Kiwoom added a run in the third inning on RBI singles by Kim Hye-sung, Kim Hwijip, and Ronnie Dawson.
Hanwha battled back and got a run back in the top of the fourth on Williams’ solo home run (his fifth of the season).
Hanwha turned the tide in the fifth inning. Two batters later, Jang Jin-hyuk doubled and Choi Jae-hoon walked to put runners on first and second. Lee Do-yoon then grounded out to first base and took advantage of a throwing error by Kiwoom starter Kim Sun-ki to tie the game.
In the next at-bat, Jeong Eun-won hit an RBI double to make it 4-2.
Kiwoom cut the deficit to 4-3 in the bottom of the fifth when Kim Hye-sung hit her seventh solo home run of the season.
In the top of the eighth, Kiwoom put runners on first and second with one out when Song Sung-moon singled and Jeon Byung-woo grounded into a double play. Kim Hye-sung tied the game with an infield single to put runners on second and third before Park Chan-hyuk and Lee Ju-hyung followed with back-to-back singles.
Hanwha did not give up. In the bottom of the ninth, Kwon Kwang-min doubled off Kiwoom reliever Lim Chang-min, 카지노사이트랭크 and Jang Jin-hyuk and Moon Hyun-bin followed with RBI singles to tie the game at 5-5 and send the game into extra innings.

Was unable to capitalize on two bases-loaded opportunities in the 10th and 11th innings of extra innings.

Hanwha brought in Kim Kyu-yeon in the bottom of the 12th to close out the game. Kim pitched one scoreless inning to earn her first career save.

Second-place KT (65-2-52) sent fourth-place SSG (61-1-54) to its third straight loss.
Leading 6-5, KT scored a run in the third on Kang Hyun-woo’s RBI double and a run in the fourth on Shin Bon-ki’s sacrifice fly to right field.
Leading 8-5, they added five more runs in the fifth inning on an RBI single to right by Jang Sung-woo and a grand slam to right by pinch-hitter Kang Baek-ho (his seventh of the season) to overtake SSG.
KT starter Yoo Byeong-seong struggled with five runs on seven hits with three walks and two strikeouts in five innings, but he earned his seventh win of the season with the help of a hot batting lineup.
Oh Yoon-seok went 2-for-4 with a double and four RBIs, while Kang Baek-ho led the offense with a double, home run and four RBIs.
SSG starter Moon Seung-won suffered his third loss of the season (6-3) after allowing seven runs on seven hits with one walk and three strikeouts in three innings.
In Changwon, the NC Dinos earned a 4-3 win over the Lotte Giants.
Third-place NC (61 points, 2 draws, 51 losses) extended its winning streak to four games. Lotte (54 wins, 61 losses) remained in seventh place.
NC’s Kwon Hee-dong hit the game-winning hit in the seventh inning.
NC had the bases loaded in the seventh inning with two walks and one hit by pitch. With the tying run at the plate, Jason Martin was picked off at first base to end the threat.
Kwon lined a single to left field to put runners on second and third.
With runners on second and third with one out in the eighth inning, NC closer Lee Yong-chan gave up a hard-hit ball to the first batter, Lee Jung-geun, to load the bases, but he grounded out to Jung-hoon to end the inning.
Lee got out of a bases-loaded jam in the ninth and pitched 1 1/3 scoreless innings to earn his 21st save of the season.
Lotte’s Kim Sang-soo
Was the second pitcher on the mound after starter Charlie Barnes, who pitched six innings of two-run ball, but went down with a thigh injury after throwing nine consecutive pitches, including two walks and one hit by a pitch.
Shin Jeong-rak, who took over the mound, allowed Kim Sang-soo to score, making him the losing pitcher.
In Jamsil, the Doosan Bears rallied for a dramatic 8-7 win over the Samsung Lions in the bottom of the ninth inning.

After leading-off Kim Jae-hwan walked Samsung’s Kim Tae-hoon, Lee Yoo-chan led off with a sacrifice bunt. With one out, Kang Seung-ho singled up the middle to tie the game.
With runners on first and second after Park Jun-young’s high fly ball, pinch-hitter Park Kye-beom hit a grounder, but the ball hit third baseman Ryu Ji-hyuk’s glove and bounced off the foul line, 고스톱 allowing Kang Seung-ho to round third base and dive home to end the game.
