Tour’s Dongbu Construction-Korea Land Trust Championship (total prize money: 1 billion won), “Super
Rookie” Bang Shin-sil (19-KB Financial Group) has moved up to No. 61 in the world rankings.
According to the Women’s Golf World Rankings released on Sunday, Bang is ranked 61st, up 18 spots from 79th last week.
She added 13 points with seven birdies and one bogey in the final round of the tournament, which
concluded at Iksan City Country Club (par-72) in Jeonbuk, North Jeolla Province, on Sept. 15, for a final
total of 43 points. It was the second win of the season for Bang, who won the E1 Charity Open in May.
Eunjul In (USA), who lifted her first career trophy at the Buick Shanghai on the Women’s Professional Golf
(LPGA) Tour, jumped 10 spots to No. 25 from No. 35 last week.
There were no major changes at the top.
Lilia Boo (USA), Yin Luning (CHN), Jin Young Ko (28-Solare), Nelly Koda (USA), Celine Boutier (FRA), Hyo
