Pro basketball KCC snaps losing streak with win over Hyundai Mobis at home…

Busan KCC snapped a three-game losing streak at home against Ulsan Hyundai Mobis.
KCC defeated Hyundai Mobis 91-84 in the 2023-2024 regular season at Sajik Gymnasium in Busan on Sunday, led by Heo Woong, Choi Jun-yong and Alize DeShawn Johnson.
Hwoong scored 21 points, Choi Jun-yong had 17, and Johnson added 19 in the win.
KCC, which was considered a strong favorite to win the title heading into the season, picked up one win after two straight losses. However, they remain in eighth place with a 4-7 record.
Hyundai Mobis also lost to KCC in their second meeting of the season, dropping their winning percentage to below 5 percent with a 7-8 record.
After leading 47-42 at halftime in a back-and-forth affair in which both teams committed turnovers, KCC pulled away in the third quarter as Johnson, Heo Woong, and Choi Jun-yong scored in succession.
With 4:38 left in the third quarter, Song Kyo-chang’s two-pointer made it 62-52, but KCC capitalized on a series of Hyundai Mobis miscues to make it 74-58 as the quarter ended.
In the fourth quarter, when Johnson was briefly benched after picking up four fouls, Lagunia took over the scoring.
After converting a high pass from Lee Ho-hyun into an alley-oop with 7:33 left in the fourth quarter, Ragan-ah took a long pass from Choi Jun-yong for a dunk with 6:53 left to boost his team’s morale.
Hyundai Mobis rallied with a 3-pointer from Park Jun-eun and points from Choi Jin-soo, Kim Hyun-soo and Kebe Aluma (19 points) to pull within five points, 79-84.
However, KCC’s Choi Jun-yong scored an offensive rebound, followed by a driving layup, and Song Kyo-chang scored under the basket on the ensuing possession to make it 88-79 with 1:52 left. 토토
