Kyung Hee University (Kyung Hee University) is in Mokpo, South Jeolla Province, for winter training in preparation for the upcoming 2024 season. Seven freshmen have also joined the team. The team’s transformation for the upcoming season is encouraging.

“Before I came to the training camp, I thought that college winter training would be different from high school winter training. I was nervous because I thought it would be really hard, so I prepared myself a lot, but when I got there, it was harder than I thought. Right now, I’m doing a lot of running training, so it’s especially physically demanding. I think it’s going to be harder because there are a lot of days ahead,” she said with a small smile.

We also asked her how she feels about Kyung Hee University as a freshman. “The atmosphere is really good. We talk a lot during workouts. Besides sports, the older guys take care of the juniors and help them adjust well. All the first-year players, including myself, are adjusting well without any problems,” he said, adding that they are already merging as a team.

This is your first winter training program since joining the team, so you’re excited to see how your skills develop. What are some of the things he’s working on the most this winter?

“I think my mobility is lacking. Fortunately, Kyung Hee University runs a lot, so I hope to strengthen my mobility and speed during this period. In the medium to long term, I want to improve my shooting by practicing a lot.”

The freshmen also shared their optimism for the upcoming season.

Bae Hyeonsik said, “I’ll show my freshman spirit. I’ll do a lot of dirty work and help out more than my older brothers. While helping the seniors, I will do my part and stand out.” He concluded the interview by revealing his determination.
